Implications of not having Dr Watson on Vista?

I've noticed that the App-V 4.5 installer still installs Dr Watson 2.0 on Vista even though Vista has a new component to perform error reporting.

Does anyone know if there is a downside to not having Dr Watson installed on a Vista system?

Looks like Microsoft's take on it is that the supportability of a Vista system having Dr. Watson installed is fully supported. They don't seem interested in changing the App-V installer to provide a different solution on Vista even though Dr. Watson is supercded by Windows Error Reporting.
