Is possible to change the search parameters under inventory/devices to also look for asset tag #s
When I'm searching for the asset tag # under inventory-devices, it doesn't come up but if I use advanced search and set it to Asset Tag =
The device comes up even though the computer was named incorrectly.
Is it possible to change it where I don't have to use advanced search and just configure the search to also look for asset tag #s?
I don't know if it's a bug within KACE but I hope this makes sense.

Why not use the magnifying glass search tool in the top right corner? It searches everything... pretty much.

I think this is what is known as "an opportunity to improve" for the SMA guys at KACE ;o)
KACE have integrated barcodes and barcode scanning into the tool, but as such the generic search options within the tool, it would be my guess, have not been updated to include the barcode related fields within the barcode table. So no matter what Barcode values you may attribute to an asset, within the mainUI you are not able to search.
