Is there a best practice for replication shares?
Right now we have our replication shares set up on our VMware vCenter servers. We ran into a problem last night where we pushed out Adobe XI to the entire office (300ish machines) and only about half of them deployed because one the replication server was disconnected from Kace some how.
Do you guys have your replication shares on standalone servers or are they part of another server just on their own partition?

As far as choosing a machine for a replication share, there isn't a whole lot of "best practice" besides the obvious stuff (make sure the machine has good network connectivity, can install the Agent, has enough free space, etc). It sounds like your problem may be network related as hosting the replication share on a vCenter server shouldn't be a problem. I would contact support@kace.com so they can take a look at your logs and see what exactly went wrong.
We have our rep shares setup on the PC that hosts the RSA at each location, since they have plenty of unused disk space and aren't heavily used outside of imaging. Since that's strictly during the day, it never interferes with the replication that happens at night.
We setup simple VMware machines with Server 2012 and a local file share (SAN). No problems thus far. We are a virtual shop, so we have plenty of space to dedicate a simple server to KACE replication. These servers will handle a few hundred clients each.
