Is there a way to add a field (specifically the system bios or service tag) to the Inventory list in Kace admin console?
We inventory our machines based in part on the Dell service tag. It would be nice in the Inventory view to sort and search by asset tag and then execute a machine action against that inventory item. If it's not possible could you please provide suggestions on the best way to do this?

I don't believe it's possible to change the fields shown on the Inventory list. You can however still use the Advanced search to search on that field.

There's a request for customization of the Inventory screen in User Voice and it's under review - I know, because I'd like this feature added as well. ^_^

Yes. I have also voted on this feature. It should be easy to implement since they basically do the same thing in Service Desk with Custom Views. - pingpring 11 years ago
