Is there a way to add a list of owned computers to the Dell KACE agent?
Is it possible to add a list of computers to the Dell KACE K1000? I am not talking about provisioning the computers I just want to add a list of computers that are owned by my company in there so I can see what we have on the agent/whats not on there/what hasn't been logged into for weeks.... so on and so on. Any help on this will be great.

You can manually add inventory: Devices>Choose Action>New>Manual Device

That's basically the inventory screen with the agents installed. You can also do agentless inventory but it won't give you that many details about the computers.
If you just need a list that does not update dynamically you can use the asset feature of KACE or create a custom ticket queue with custom categories that will track this too.

Based on the way the question was asked, I assume they don't want to use KACE licenses for this. Agentless inventory for computers still does use a license. - jknox 9 years ago
