Is there a way to get just a count of all physical and virtual PCs and servers in my K1000?
I just need a head count.

there are many ways.
The easiest way is to create a report which reports physical and virtual and you do a SQL count() statement for each.
As an example there is a default report under Virtual Infrastructure, called All Virtual Machines. If this already answers your question, feel free to use it. If not you can use it as an example for your own report.
