Is there a way to stop a K1000 deployment in progress?

Suppose you're using KACE to push some patches to a machine. Suppose you've changed from Detect & Deploy to Deploy, then you changed it back again to Detect & Deploy, but because of how the system works, it automatically reset to deploy *all* patches. Now suppose the system(s) you're deploying to is getting every single piece of available software through the patching system deployed to it. How in the world can I make it stop? Do I just kill the AMP agent?

  • Yikes! Maybe set detect and deploy to disabled. Reboot the server, maybe? - Jbr32 9 years ago
  • Supposedly, you can stop the patch jobs while they are in progress. Check this article.
