Issues imaging systems with dell dock 6000

I have been trying to use a dell dock 6000 to image some Latitude 7400s which lack their own ethernet port. I have put the d6000 drivers into \\Kacedrivershare\kbe_windows_x64\dell-winpe10-a08\docks\d6000 and \\kacedrivershare\windows_10_x64\dell-winpe10-a08\docks\d6000 and recached the drivers but I am only getting internet through the dock in the preboot, when it reboots to do the post install tasks there is no connection. I am deploying a Windows 10 64bit image. What am I doing wrong?

  • KACE Boot Environments are Static entities, they will also use whatever drivers were in \\SDA\drivers\kbe_windows_x64\ when it was created.

You will need to build a new KBE now that you have updated the drivers folder. - Channeler 4 years ago

KACE Boot Environments are Static entities, they will also use whatever drivers were in \\SDA\drivers\kbe_windows_x64\ when it was created.

You will need to build a new KBE now that you have updated the drivers folder. Then this new KBE will have the drivers.

Now, in Post Install state, the KBE is no more, and it's up to Windows to Finish the Post Install tasks.

In this case, you might need to add those drivers to the appropriate folder in \\SDA\drivers_postinstall\dell\      folder.  And recache all drivers.
