Java Deployment for New K1000 User

Greetings everyone,

Recently got the K1000 and K2000 appliance in our environment and learning about it. We are currently going through "Jump" training and learning quite a bit. Something that has come up that I'm trying to find an answer to is Java. I have searched and read several various articles on Java ( how to install and remove) and have seen very different and various results. End goal of what I'm trying to find out how to do is update all my machines in my environment (1100) all to the latest version of Java. I have an application that requires the latest version that will go live in about three weeks, so trying to figure if I can reliably get Java and Flash updated to the latest version with the appliance, or go ahead and like previous attempts and just do machine to machine hand updating. In the past we would always remove all previous versions of Java then install the latest version but with machines that have mixtures of versions Java 7 and 8 and 32 and 64 bit machines, can this be done in time? Sorry to sound so ignorant about this. Just with so many various posts, didn't know if someone has a "tried and true" method. Thanks for your help

A good point to start is to search within the Software Tips.

And second you can use the search within ITNinja. There are several articles that describes the problems and questions related to JAVA installation and uninstallation.
