K1000 Help Desk API Can you use a service account to authenticate?

We currently have version 12.1.169. Currently I'm using the API to create tickets but the authentication is using my personal credentials. I'm looking to see if there is a better way to authenticate such as with a service account or API key?

At this time, you will need to authenticate using a user's credentials on the appliance.

  • Do you know if this will ever be changed in a future update? It's so inconvenient and I wish I could use an API key to authenticate instead. - ccorey 1 year ago
