K1000 How to download the private key when setting up SSL

Good evening. I am looking for a download "button" under Settings - Control Panel - Security Settings - SSL Certificate Form to download the private key file. I tried copying the private key in to notepad and renaming to private.key but that doesn't seem to work. I sent my CSR to GD and have the .crt file. I'm running the latest 10.0.290. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

There is no download button for private key. I assume you used the SMA SSL wizard to create the CSR.

If so,  from the Settings › Control Panel › Security Settings > SSL Certificate Form click on "Display Appliance Private Key"

Copy from the start of

-----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY----- to -----END PRIVATE KEY-----

and paste in a notepad file and save it.

You can use the openSSL command line options shown here or use their Web UI tool to verify certificate & key match.
