K1000 Remote Storage Location


we have a K1000 and setting up a RSA for the Software Deployment, that working fine. But the clients in the Remote Location receive every time the packets from the primary location.

How determine the K1000 from where the client should receive the pakets?

Our Mainlocation is in the subnet
The Remote Location has the subnet
-- > is the RL located (Server VLAN)
--> + + + are the Client Networks 

The 2nd RL has (that works)
The 3rd RL has (that works)

How does the client or the KACE know where to find the pakets? The location are 100% valid integrated into the Domain Sides, every location have a DC and an DFS Store Fileserver.

With a single Subnet it works fine, but with multiple subnets (VLANs) it don`t work

RSAs are used with the K2000 when deploying images.  For the K1000, you would use a replication share.

    yes what i mean is a replication share and not a RSA, the replication works, all file are replicated to the remote store correctly. What i mean, how determine the KACE from where the clients should receive the packets? Based on the IP Address?

    Because the clients in that location receive all pakets from the headquarter and not from the replication store. - J.Frenker 8 years ago
