K2000 - Automatic deployment of images/scripted install

At one of the K2000 Advanced Topics presentations at Dell World/Software User Forum there was a mention of the ability to use the KBE Manipulator to create a KBE that would automatically image a machine, i.e. no user input is required to select an image or scripted install. I'm looking for details on how to set that up. I checked the knowledge base but didn't find an article that contains the information.

Thanks.

  • Ok I followed the Picture from the slide ( start /wait y:\scripts\system_image_60.bat ) and that by itself does work but has three cmd windows that never finish, if you exit each one the computer finishes imaging and seems to work.

Any clues? - TimHR 8 years ago
    • The newer default deploy mechanism works better. I recommend you check it out:
