KACE 7.0 VMware ESXi 6.5 agentless vmware inventory not working?
The new VMware agentless device type works great against ESXi 6.0, but fails to complete inventory collection after upgrading a device to ESXi 6.5. It laso fails to inventory any new ESXi 6.5 device.

Vcenter VCSA 6.5 works ok here. But I haven't updated the hosts yet. - five. 6 years ago

Per Quest Support ESXi 6.5 is not supported until KACE 7.1. I never managed to find that documented anywhere, but the upgrade did resolve the issue.

Hi all. What can be done with the ESXi hosts from Kace, simply inventory, or can you deploy things to the host? I'm wondering if there's functionality to deploy Dell device drivers to my ESXi servers that run on Dell servers. Thanks. - bens401 6 years ago
