KACE Agent Failed to Inventory - WMI Failed , No Such Interface

WMI Calls are failing with 0x80004002, No Such Interface. Lumension is unable to inventory the machine and catalog updates.

Have tried resetting the WMI Repository, re-registered ole32 and oleaut32, winmgmt /salaverepository, winmgmt /resetrepository.

    • Thank you for the script. I have created the KSCRIPT on the Kace appliance. However, the wmi-diag script does not provide for a means to fix the problem that I know of? It just reports that it found problems. - cjacksonactx 10 years ago
  • Still unable to query these machines. We have a handful of them that just simply will not work with WMI requests. - cjacksonactx 10 years ago
