Kace image needs updating

Hi all,

I have been assigned the task of updating our KACE images. Just looking for some pointers on where to start really. We currently have an image which is working great, but after deploying the image we have over 500MB of windows updates that need installing on each deployed device. Being new to KACE am I right in assuming I just need to create a new base image using sysprep, capture the image instead of deploying the image after booting into the PXE Enviroment?

  • If you're new to KACE then you should check out the Kontinuing education videos Dell provides (KKEs). - chucksteel 8 years ago

Most straight-forward solution: Download image > perform updates > sysprep and recapture
