Kace K1000/K2000 vs SCCM 2012

A little background...

We're currently a Kace customer with both K1000/K2000 and currently phasing out SCCM 2007. I haven't seen SCCM 2012 since early beta, but there has been some discussion internally about it. With our core cal agreement with microsoft we essentially get the sccm client management license for free.

Is anyone looking at SCCM 2012 to replace Kace, or compliment it? What are some overall impressions of the product?

Thanks!

We are implementing SCCM 2012 on top of SCCM 2007.

It is a nice product. The advantage you get is that you can migrate all your applications from 2007 to 2012 easily.

EMA spoke at a presentation about how SCCM and KACE can compliment each other. Some interesting info in there. http://kace.com/resource-center/resources/EMA-Analyst-Talks-SCCM-2012-and-KACE
