Kace software metering for Autodesk Maya

I am trying to get some metering data for our Maya installations for some license updates we will be doing soon. I have enabled metering on the label containing the PCs with Maya installed and on the software catalog entries for Maya. But Kace does not seem to be recording any usage even though I know it is used extensively throughout our organization. I have metering setup for varies other programs and everything with those is working as expected so I am banging my head against the wall trying to figure out why Maya seems to not work.

The only thing that stands out to me is that while all other software catalog entries reference the main .EXE for the program, Maya just lists something generic like "Autodesk Maya 2016". Screen grabs from the software catalog entires included below to show what I am talking about. I am wondering if I am doing something wrong or if this is a bug.

This is due to the way Autodesk products typically operate. https://support.quest.com/kb/146088/unable-to-meter-autodesk-revit explains the issue. In some cases you may be able to meter a supporting feature such as a sync tool, workflow manager, or auto-updater. While not ideal, it may be a means to an end.
