Launching VNC viewer and Remote Desktop from Firefox
Is there any way to get the VNC and Remote Desktop buttons to work in Firefox and/or Chrome?

You can install the IE tab (available for both chrome and firefox).
Technically your still rendering the page in IE, but at least you don't have to switch browsers.
