Lotus Notes Sametime embedded 8.5.2
Was wondring if anyone have managed to deploy ibm lotus notes sametime embedded on w2k8r2 or windows7?
We have some problems deploying this application on theese two platforms
The installation starts but after a while it just stop/hang. Anyone know why?

I had the same problem sometimes with LN8.5.3 and Sametime.
Try to deploy it as 'LocalSystem'(Service).
But i don't know, if your tool can do this.
I have tried to deploy Sametime 8.5.2 to Win7 with SCCM. I figured out that there is a file called register_kerb.bat in C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Sametime Connect\rcp\eclipse\plugins\com.ibm.rcp.base_6.2.3.20110414-1652.
In the bat file there is setlocal, wich localizes environment variables and at least in our environment, it crashes the SCCM installation.
If you leave the setlocal out of there and change the file like this
rem Update Windows registry
reg import register_kerb.reg
it shouldn't stop the software installation.
