Managed Installation File Path ###

What designates the file path for a Kace Managed Installation? Specifically, the final folder represented by three numbers. Any information is appreciated.

The Managed Installation is always linked to a software item.
The c:\programdata\quest\kace\downloads\54321\ is the software item which is used by the MI.
You may have it on another location if the agent was installed with the option APPDATALOCATION.

  • Nico, is this still the case as the downloads folder id that is created now no longer reconciles to the Sofwtare Item id. I'm using 11.1.265 - TimG 2 years ago
    • for security reasons the IDs are now different. (not sure since which version) - Nico_K 2 years ago
