Managed Installs on external network?
Since many staff have gone home with their Windows laptops before we figured out what software they'd need, it would be extremely useful to be able to use Managed Installs for pushing out applications. Unfortunately I've not been able to find info in the admin guide or here for this question..
The managed install doesn't seem to target items under a label if they don't have an IP address, but moving the install to User Downloads under Service Desk I was able to "pull" the install. It seems its technically possible, but I can't seem to find any settings to let me do this automatically for a whole label of our devices.
Am I missing something?
There is no limitation for MI.
But it is possible due to the systems are parts of the users local networks that multiple devices are seen with the same IP (or no IP).
Make sure that they are recognized correctly.
The userui/-Installs use the "normal" MI but run on demand.
