Max Field Size in K1000 custom inventory field?
Does anyone happen to know what is the max field size for a custom inventory field in the K1000? I'm wanting to read back a text file (/c cmd type 'note.txt') but would like to have an idea of how much space KACE allows for filling up a field.
Anyone know?

There is not a known limit that has been reached. I have some that bring back anywhere from 300-600 lines in file. You want to try to avoid something that might be a large file as it would cause a lot of overhead.

I suggest to use a script to upload a file if you have a large text file which you want for each system, since if you are using many CIR with large text deserts it may be not very useable (I am using 14 CIR, most of the systems use 12 out of them, because the other 2 are running only on special machines, and two of them have large text info which I need for a regular report, but if I open the CIR field by accident I need to scroll for a long time ;)
The first one is a full smartctl walk and results which I need to add to the ticket which is opened automaticly when another CIR which only checks if the smart test has not passed with this info too.
The second one is an overview of the KACE-folder contents for debugging Handshake (error)
