Message box pops up during Windows patching?

I ran windows updates this morning for the first time since last Patch Tuesday. Now every computer that is updating is popping this message box:
We are using Kace for windows patching at the moment, our computers are mostly Windows 7 (these are the only ones I've checked for the message box so far), and the updates for last Tuesday are listed here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/bulletin/ms12-jul
I've gone through and checked the patch settings, and I can't see any reason for this message box. We've been doing patches from the Kace box for a few months now, and this is the first time we've ever seen this message. The message box itself isn't terribly horrible, but it reappears multiple times during patching so I'm getting complaints from users that find it "annoying". Has anyone else experienced this? Does anybody have any ideas about how to stop it?

I have noticed this as well on our machines. Microsoft has released a new Windows Update Agent (7.6.7600.256). This needs to be pushed down and installed before running the patches. If you manually run Windows Updates you will see that it will install the new version and then restart Windows Update.

Do you have any idea why the Windows Update Agent causes Kace to show this message box, or is this not something Kace is doing? I know there have been Updates to the agent before and I don't think it has shown this message box. - Ben M 11 years ago

Anyone else having this problem? We started seeing it here today as well. This never used to happen - and we've been using Kace for patching for about 2 years now.
This generally means another package/MSI is being installed while installing the patches. You need to separate that and install it first before installing the patches. If it is Windows Update then install it before.
