Microsoft ActiveSync 3.7.1

I've made a successful capture, and the package works.. There's just one small problem ;) Everytime I press the A.S shortcut on the start menu - ActiveSync launches as it should, BUT the C:\Program Files\Microsoft ActiveSync Folder also opens in a new window!?? If I make a new shortcut the same thing happens.. Nothing seems to work, there must bee some garbage left in the registry?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

BR Henrik

I have this packaged and in production for my client. If you want I could simply email it to you. I acreated a self extracting exe that then runs a simple install script.

I followed this www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/resources/whitepapers/silentmodesetup.mspx and every went fine for me. I try as often as possible not to repackage if I don't have to. Cheers.

I can successfully package MS Activesync on a silent command, however is there a way to silently uninstall it?

Thanks in advance

This has an answer to your problems. And indeed it is a registry key.

If you install from the MS source files Try
msiexec.exe /X {9C589B2F-E41C-48FC-A811-C9FD5E3CA26C} /qn

but it requires user intervention
