Microsoft Visio 2007
Hi All,
I have Microsoft Visio 2007 sequenced on Win XP with sequencer version 4.6 and being deployed to a Win XP with App-v client version 4.6. The user is able to launch and use the application by all normal means.
The same sequenced app when deployed to the Win 7 with same client version throws an error message stating "The operating system is not presently configured to run this application" and shutsdown

did u selected Window 7 tab (operating system support).
before saving the Package?

I have deselected all the operating system. So the selected column does not have any operating system. My understanding of this was if a OS is selected then the application is restricted to work for those Os'es else it works for all Os'es.

Yes, that´s true. It´s not the issue here. Sequenced Office applications have been known to show this behavior when they need a repair and is unable to do that. The sudden need for a repair is probably due to differences in operating system.
You can either make a new sequence for Windows 7 or get the old one to repair properly and hope that solves it. (I would go for a new sequence myself, as that's the safer option.)
