Mozilla Firefox 20, How do you use the "certutil" ?

Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1 I am able to use PDQ Deploy to push out the ".exe" installer using the -ms parameter. I am trying to use the Firefox ADM Templates (http://sourceforge.net/projects/firefoxadm/) to push out our inhouse security cert and proxy.pac script.

According to the templates in the GPO settings:

Set Location of Master folder that contains the 3 certificate files (cert8.db, key3.db, secmod.db), which will be copied to all User Profiles with Firefox Profile.

I have found this: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/pki/nss/tools/certutil.html

and: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/pki/nss/tools/

So does anyone know how to use the "certutil" I am assuming that I will need to run it on a Linux box. It looks as though, if I could get the three ".db" file populated with our local cer then it would point to a local network share and update the certs in all user profiles. I just need to get the "certificate store" prepped.

  • So I set the GPOs for the Firefox ADM templates and the PC has the GPO but it is not affecting Firefox. :( - mattyakel 11 years ago
