MSI - Flash Player (Plugin) - Win 7 - Installation problem

Hello,

i want to install "flash player plugin" using GPO on win 7 32 bit computers.

I made a startup script (computer configuration)

msiexec.exe /i %dossierMSI%\%version%\install_flash_player_11_plugin /qn /log %dossier%\log_install_%version%_plugin.txt

The log file contain no error ; intallation successfull

i have installed "flash player activex" using this command : works fine.

someone have ever see this problem ?

 

on Win Xp, plugin and activex work fine

Firefox problem , not MSI problem

I think this is because, .msi extension is missing in your script

Can you check a few things to troubleshoot:

1) As Jagadeish suggested, add .msi in your package name here.

2) Can you check if the log file folder exists in your Windows 7?

3) What error or issue are you getting.. can you post it here.

  • The log file states "Product: Adobe Flash Player 11 Plugin -- Configuration completed successfully". That means its just repairing the existing flash player on that machine.
    Remove the existing version & install fresh. - hrs2cool 11 years ago
  • I have uninstall then reinstall flash --> same problem.
    I solved the problem by reinstalling "firefox" ...
