Multi-stage approval concept

Hello everybody,

i am currently facing a problem, which no one coud help out with.

This is my problem:

Approval 1: His boss

Approval 2: IT boss

Approval 3: The boss, which resource should be accessed.

Here we have problems with Approval 3

As an example: Someone from the PA wants to access a network path from the accounting department

Approval 1: HeadĀ of PA

Approval 2: Head of IT

Approval 3: Head of accounting.

I wanted to solve this with individual processes that control with SQL rules so that when a certain category is selected the responsible process is started.

I fail at starting the process.

Does anyone know a better way or how to start the a process if a spezified category is selected?

In Short, we can do that but we don't use Processes. We have done that for customers in the past, it is all done via complicated SQL in ticket rules and controlling the values in a single ticket.

Whilst ITNinja is a great place to share hints and tips, but this is far from simple and typically would at least 5 days to complete as a consultancy engagement, so if you want to find out more, feel free to contact me directly.
