Need help inserting a custom action (vbscript)

This is my first utilization of a vbscript in a custom action, so please bear with me.

I have a script to kill a certain directory. I want it to run before any files are dropped on the machine. I'm using Admin Studio 6.0.

Should I store it in the Custom Action or as a binary? Where in the sequence should I insert it?

Use Custom Action type 38. This allows a VBScript text to be in the 'Target' column of the Custom Action table.

Place the script in the InstallExecuteSequence table before the InstallInitialize action.
