ORACLE 11G 32Bit Database (11.2.0.4) - Silent Deinstall

Hello guys,

im in trouble with the deinstall process from Oracle. I try to deinstall the Database since last week without any results. The problem is,when I deinstall not all folders and Start Menu Items would be deleted. And after that i cannot install a new instance and can't delete the old one fully. This Oracle 32Bit Database deinstall is driving me crazy. I've created alot of packages for our SCCM distribution and also Oracle 11g 64bit and 12c but this 32Bit Oracle is giving me a slap in the face.

Hope you guys can help me, and hope you can tell me how to handle this.

  • Are you repacking this or using a response file? Oracle apps are a right pain in the ass. Also is this the Runtime/Client? - rileyz 9 years ago

  • I've found a solution for my problem. Im using the Uninstall Tool from the Oracle Website and also using a .rsp for the deinstall process. But the key to success is that a javaw.exe was opened and blocked the deinstallation. So i've decided to kill the process and stop all the services once, before i start the deinstall process. And now it works. :) - fehler_404 9 years ago
