please describe steps

Hi, all.
I have read about sms lot, but please someone tell me, how shall i proceed, for configuration of sms 2003 server. Because after doing all the configuration, also, my client machine is not detecting, I am running all these things from my vmware lab.
Please just tell me....steps after installation of sms 2003. one by one. I do not want any readmade food, but please just give me, steps, by which I can configure my client.

Your client has the firewall enabled! Disable it

hard to help. SMS is a beast.

Though there is a blogcast repository but I still fail when updating many things.
YMMV.

There isn't really enough information in your post. Have you configured your CLient installation accounts? Do they have the correct access? Are there errors in the SMS logs on the server? It there a "ccmsetup" dir in %windir%/system32?
