Post-Install Office 2010 Not working
Hello, I am trying to install Office 2010 Plus as a Post-Installation task with a system-image. As an aside, it is not part of the image because not all machines will get it. I have created a .msp file using the oct in Office 2010 and placed it in the update folder. I then zipped it up and uploaded it to the kbox and setup the post-install task. I set the command line as setup.exe /adminfile [custom].msp. When I run the system image to a client computer everything runs fine until the Office 2010 install. I get an error telling me that /adminfile cannot be found and it won't install the software.
I have been checking http://itninja.com/link/configure-a-silent-installation-of-office-2010 for info on adding this package and the only thing I have not added to this setup is a config.xml file. Half of the posts in that package entry don't specify it being needed.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

you can move the .msp file up and out of the update folder or add a better reference to the file so the installer knows how to get to it. We ended up creating the .xml file and placed it at the root level where setup.exe was located. After that you should be ready to install without any problems.

yes your command line implies that the .msp file is in the same directory as your setup.exe, so this is where you should put it. :)

Did you zip up the office folder or the contents of the file?
The kbox will extract the files from the zip.
If you zip up the folder setup.exe will be one level down.

There was my problem dchristian. I had zipped the entire folder instead of the contents of the folder. It appears to be working now. Thanks for the other suggestions. I moved the msp out to the main root of the folder as well just to be safe. Thank you everyone for your help.
