Problem with creating netboot image MacOS
01/23/2016 1610 views
I've a problem with Media manager when I want start the creation for Yosemite, Media manager said that :
Usage: make_netboot.sh -s <source_path> -d <destination_path> -p <admin password hash> -v <vnc password hash>
Example: sudo ./make_netboot.sh -s /Volumes/Mac\ OS\ X\ Install\ DVD/ -d /Users/Shared/kace_netboot.nbi -p admin-v admin
installer: The OS Install failed with error: Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=1 "Operation not permitted".
So I open a terminal and I've written the line, I've an error again.. see picture below
Should I go into a specific directory ?
I made the netboot image with a mac running on 10.10.3 mid 2008 with 4gb of RAM and an image download in 10.10.5 is it a problem if it's not exactly the same version ?
I've tried with installESD.dmg mount with the Mac and with installESD.dmg installed on USB stick, only once I have no error but Media manager have crashed after 2 hours
I have a last question, I need to install other version of MacOS (when Yosemite work) but I don't have the InstallESD.dmg in the sharedfolder on the DVD of installation. I only multiple folder. Can I create a netboot image anyway ?
Sorry for the many questions... thank you in advance for your help
