Problems with Kace Agent 9.1.204

. Hi,

I have some devices not checking in kbox. We currently use kbox1100.

The devices seem to have an active connection, but do not inventory. The following yellow triangle appears on the connection status.

Does anyone have any information on what this could be?

This is a "Desktop heap exhaustion" issue on the client side. Agent is unable to launch any new process hence throwing this error. It is just an indicator that Agent is connected but cannot launch new tasks due to Heap Exhaustion issue on the client OS.

Try rebooting the client and the error should go away.

I know this is a two-year-old post, but I'm sure someone will find it helpful just in case they still having this problem,

I was able to solve this problem that was constantly occurring in my Windows environment.

You need to change a value on the registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\SubSystems\Windows

Windows Server (64bit): Windows 2008, Windows 2008 R2, Windows 2012, Windows 2012 R2, Windows 10

SharedSection=1024,20480,768 to SharedSection=1024,20480,2048

I found the solution here just in case you need to know what causes it; after a few weeks of testing it, the clients stopped having that problem, now my master image has that value fixed.

I hope it helps!
