sorry but i cant see the context here. but i will try to answer the question the way i understand it :)
if your process is 32bit, its redirected.
just open c:\windows\syswow64\cmd.exe or regedit.exe and you can see the world from a 32bit point of view.
try again with c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe / regedit and you can see the 64bit view

yes , Weberik you are right.
adding to you ...
If you are trying to double click the reg file then you always directed to 32 bit world.
u can always cross check where you are ..by opening the task manager ... check the process... all 32 bit applications will have process as *32 appended...

mahendraKumar are you sure? i expected it to be 64bit, since the shell(explorer) is also running in a 64 context and the .reg is executed with the c:\windows\system32\regedit.exe
just tested it with a reg file and i could write to HKLM\Software and it didn't get redirected to HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node
