Reading INSTALLDIR Property from MSI with Powershell/VBS

Hey all,

I know how to read the properties from an MSI with VBS, and after some googling it only seems possible with Powershell through a quite complicated script.

Now I've googled quite a bit and there's been some clues, but I have no idea how to do it.

How can I read the property with VBS and then "feed" that value (let's call it $installdir) to an existing Powershell script?

Thanks in advance,

Celahir

Piffle. The WI object model is open to any scripting language. The SDK contains a number of sample scripts which you can use to get started.
