Hey Guys,

Can anybody please tell me what is the use of this key- "[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Excel\Resiliency\DisabledItems]"

specially related to Excel?

If this key exists then you have a disabled addin for Excel. Removing it will enabled all the addins, which is fine if they’re not coursing problems…

Hey,

Thanks for your helping me to know the use of this registry key.
But the problem is if I want to again add the addin file which I have removed then I need to delete this key. Am I correct?
However suppose I have multiple addins, and I want to keep some of them to be kept as disabled and to add few selected addins in that case deleting this registry will cause a major concern.

The addins are listed under this key. They'll all have stupid names with hashed values, you’ll have to work out which is which and only deploy the ones you don’t want.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
