Running sysprep executor on Server 2019 returns AutoIT error: Variable must be of type "Object"
I've never tried to capture an image of Windows Server. Am I just hosed because it's Windows Server, or is there something else I'm missing?
Sysprep Creator 4.1.1.0. run as admin creates the exe and readme. Run the exe as admin, creates the executor. Run the executor, get this error.
All I did before I ran Sysprep creator was run Windows updates. I know that with Windows 10, you can run updates and still sysprep as long as you're not installing a feature update such as 1803 or 1809. Is that still true with Windows Server?
Any help would be much appreciated.

According to the documentation for 6.1 (the latest version for KACE SDA), that version of Windows is not supporter, yet.

In regards sysprep, regardless the OS, avoid sysprepping upgraded version of Windows, yes I know it is possible, but you are opening a door for issues, Fresh Media is the best thing to do when doing Sysprep.
I would re-download the tool, disable the AntiVirus, and try again.

Anyway, the link you provided speaks only to tech specs for the vApp. My post is about capturing a wim of Server 2019. In regards to the sysprep and upgraded Windows, I was always under the impression that once you run a feature update (such as going from 1803 to 1809) sysprep simply doesn't work. With Windows Server, I don't know that they have those kinds of updates, so the sysprep should work fine... Anyway, thanks for the reply! - mroush 4 years ago-

I was still stopped by the same error after starting from scratch. Sysprep Creator maybe isn't compatible with Server 2019.... I will try 2016 tomorrow. - mroush 4 years ago
