I thought that this was discussed here already, but I didn't find anything using the search tool.

Office 2007 can't be sequenced with the current version of SG (4.1.0.56) - from my sources, it should be able with the 4.1 SP1 release (Apr or May 2007?). I believe it was something to do with .NET 2.0 support.

I used the Office XP/2003 recipe to prep & sequence Office 2007, but during the FB1 launches the Office products (excluding Outlook - not recommended) gave a 'Out of Memory' error. I'm sure there will be more to come soon.

I heard at MMS SP1 should be out this month but that wasn't an official announcement.

We are migrating off of Groupwise and it would be AWESOME if we could sequence Outlook 2007. Looks like we'll have to wait for the next version...

Outlook 07 seems to sequence, but how does it work with version 2003 installed locally?

Should work but I've never tried that. :P

Well you can only try. I did, and it works. Fiddle-dee-dee.

The 4.2 version of the sequencer sure has ironed a lot of things out. I haven't tried sequencing office '07 since 3.x.. and that was a gong-show.

The best thing about using a SoftGrid-enabled version of Outlook 2007 with Office 2003 already locally installed is it migrates the user's profile the first time you launch with no end-user interaction. I'm using it & other wanting to get familiar with it before making the permanent switch have liked it as well.
