Service Desk Custom View

Is there a way to create a custom view to show only "x" number of queues? Currently we have 6 Service Desk Queues, but my team is responsible for maintaining 2 of them. Instead of View By "Mine and Unassigned" or "All Queus, Active Tickets" is there a way to create a Custom View to show 2 queues instead of all of them? When I click on the Custom View Tab, there is nothing that specifies Queue.

Uncheck "Allow all users as submitters" and make sure that your ticket owners don't have access to queues that they shouldn't access. That way if there are five queus and you only need to see two of them, you only see two of them.

Make user lables for each queue (or each queue groups) and only let folks see what they need to see.

  • Sorry, but I don't understand Unchecking "Allow all users as submitters". Wouldn't this prevent users to entering tickets on their own? - svierneisel 9 years ago
    • Well yes, but it sounded like you were seeing queues that you didn't need/want access to.

My point was that if you didn't have access to the other four queues, then you shouldn't see them in the All Queues view. - MacDude 9 years ago
