Setting up mail forwarding for one of the two email adresses of one mailbox
I am currently running exchange 2010.
I am trying to setup mail forwarding on a particular email address. This address shares it's mailbox with another address.
However I would only like to forward the mail from one of the addresses to a third address.
Example
User1@mail.com and User2@mail.com point to the same mailbox.
I want to forward mail only from User1@mail.com to User3@mail.com. Is this possible to do in exchange?

My Problem: I was trying to CC all mail going to an alias of a user account to another user account. Soultion: In the exchnage management console, expand the "Orgaization Configuration" section (left pane) Select "Hub Transport" Click the "Transport Rules" tab. Click "New Transport Rule" (right pane) Creating the transport rule is pretty self explanitory, the wizard walks you right through it. I am assuming when you say same mail box that is actually a forth mail account both user 1 and 2 are autoforwarding to. all you need to do is make user1 account autoforward rule go to both user3 and user4(the same mailbox). if you are using a nickname or alais for user2 that points to users1 mail that is a different.

since the one name is an alias you should be able to create a forwarding rule for user1 that looks for the alias name (user2) in the header of new mail. - SMal.tmcc 10 years ago

You could create a Rule in Outlook that checks all mail coming in to USER2, and cc USER3
