SoftGrid: Solution to Error code: 450260-1F702639-00000002

Issue:

After Publishing the application on client when I launched the shortcut it threw the following error

The Soft Grid Client could not launch CD Client
Connection Utility 4.2.0.23.

The system cannot find the file specified.

Error code: 450260-1F702639-00000002

Troubleshooting:

Method 1:
I searched the error code on the internet and it quoted that “This issue may occur when the cached .osd file for the application that you are trying to start does not exist in the "OSD Cache" directory.

This situation can occur when the contents of the "OSD Cache" directory are manually removed. We recommend that you do not manually remove the contents of this directory unless you are directed to do this by a Microsoft Customer Support Service technician. “
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, stop and then restart the SoftGrid Client service.

Did all the above changes but it didn’t work.

Method 2:
Tried troubleshooting with Filemon , in Filemon it showed that it is unable to find the path where the exe is residing, so found that the files were missing from the sft added those files and again published it on client it worked fine.

Solution:

Incase you come across these error code it is due to the file missing in your sft as the Error Code clearly says: The system cannot find the file specified.

I hope this helps you incase you are you stuck with the same error code [:)]
