Suppress superfluous changes in the change history
In the change log of a device, useless changes are logged, sometimes repeatedly, i.e.
- "RAM used changed from xxx to yyy" - what is the use of that? RAM use changes all the time, there's no point logging this!
- 'Bios Release Date' changed from xxx to yyy - logged repeatedly over and over again.
Any idea how to stop this nonsense?

You can select some of the properties that you want tracked under Settings, History then clicking on Assets under the Subscriptions column and then the pencil next to Computer. Unfortunately, 'Ram Used' is not one of them.

Any change in Inventory or Asset will log a change in the history, you can only filter this if you create a custom report to only show you what you want.
And RAM Used should not be logged at all, it's normal operations that memory usage is fluctuating with usage, it's not a change to the device! - dettmari 6 years ago
