Telestaff 2.5.1
Hi Everyone
I am working on Telestaff 2.51 and I have looked at the package KB and tried re-packaging the application but in vain.
I was not able to get the app working by installing the re-packaged version.
Its actually a vendor MSI and I have tried creating an MST and everything worked fine on my test machines (ofcourse!!)
In UAT though, it broke the Crystal Reports 11 application (which is a part of business image).
Now, what I have seen is that the packager before me, had repackaged crystal reports.
There are a bunch of common files (Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\3.0\bin) installed by both the applications and Telestaff replaces the older/lower version files.
How do I resolve these conflicts.... because telestaff will overwrirte the older files and the crystal reports pkg will keep repairing them.

If the CR junk is in a separate feature then, yes, you could specify every other feature bar the CR one in the ADDLOCAL property. If it's not, I'd move it into one.If you do the latter, be sure to offer your changes (for a fee, of course) to the brain-dead vendor who has clearly assumed that everyone will want his package to update their flavour of CR.
