Trouble with installing KACE SMA Agent with MDT

Hello,

I'm trying to install the K1000 agent on computers through MDT Deployment. The command line switches/arguments I'm using are 'msiexec /i ampagent-9.1.204-x86_my.server.here.msi /qn'.

Once the deployment is complete, I log in to verify if it was installed correctly. I don't see AMPWatchdog running in Task Manager and there is no 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest\' folder. There is however a 'C:\Programdata\Quest\KACE\' folder with files inside there. I've also noticed that some computers would show up in the K1000 admin webpage/portal showing that the KACE Agent 9.1.204 was installed.

The MDT application install log  shows that it was installed successfully, and I'm able to install the agent manually using the above mentioned arguments from an elevated command prompt. I was curious if I am overlooking something simple or if there is a way to trouble the install process.

I'm still looking into the issue and will report a solution if I find one.

Thanks

I believe I found the issue. There was an old KACE Agent install enabled in the Distribution > Managed Installations that was installing over the newer version.
