K2000: Unable to locate WinPE tools

When I try to build a k2000 boot enviroment I receieve the error unable to locate winpe tools at....... I guess the waik path is wrong. How do I find the correct Waik Path as I am not sure how to do this. It is the path to the appliance?

It sounds like you haven't installed the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK): http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30652. Give that a try.

No - it is the local path to your WAIK or ADK installation:

  • Starting with Windows 10, version 1809, WinPE is an add-on to the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK). Previously it was included in the ADK. To get Windows PE, install the ADK, and then install the WinPE addon.     Downloading and installing the add-on will take care of the "unable to locate WinPE Tools at" error when creating a new KBE. - piobaireachd 5 years ago
