Update a Large file on image.
I have built a Windows 10 VM that is on our OSX Image. I need to update this file on the image but i am unable to move the 18GB up to the server via web. What is the best way to update massive files on an OSX image?

So you have a Windows 10 VM Ware machine that is inside your Mac OS Image?
Is that VMWare Fusion?
The K2 version 5x let's you add files to the image via web browser, but be aware of web browsers upload limitations:

The K2 does allow the updating of files via the web but wanted to know if I could update this a better way. Maybe putting it in the Restore folder and then updating like that.
I would recapture but that will be a full day of capturing and such. That I would like to avoid if possible. - adavenport 6 years ago
Maybe a post installation Shell script, that will look for that "file", then temporary maps a network path to Restore or any other network location, and creates a copy of that file to your desired registry will do.
But it looks too troublesome, we are not talking about adding a Word document, or a Desktop Shortcut or an APP file for installs... it's a VM....
Again, a recapture will do, I would start it today before leaving, it should be done by tomorrow morning.... - Channeler 6 years ago
