Uploaded an image to K2000 (SDA) but cannot add tasks to image (get http 500 error)

I have racked my brain on this one and have not had any luck searching documentation for this.

Currently have a physical SDA running 7.1.94.  I've uploaded a new image to the system and didn't receive any errors.  I'm designing these base images Win 10 using Hyper-V.

When I go to the SDA and click on System Image Details to setup the image for use.  My other previous captured images work fine, however the one I uploaded today I cannot get to the System Image Details page.  Instead, I get HTTP 500 error (Screenshot below).

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

  • I would just try a physical machine image capture, don't even bother with sysprep, just to prove that the functionality on the KACE SDA is working. That may also help you identify if creating and capturing images on a Hyper-V setup may be the issue - Hobbsy 4 years ago

Access the Samba Share, there is a hidden folder called PETEMP where logs are located.

Delete the logs created the day you captured the Image. (They are named like XX.log, where XX is the Image ID).

Reload the Page.

(Your logs are too heavy, because you enabled Capture Debug from the KBE, and Chrome,Firefox have troubles loading the file,  If you try with IE (not Edge), IE, it should work).

Comments:
  • I've moved all the logs associated with that capture off of the share and reloaded the page. Still getting the same issue (both in Chrome & IE). I've cleared my cookies as well.

I will say that our SDA / K2000 only has 48.88 GB left. I'm not sure if that needs to be cleared some for it to work. - breevesMSCC 4 years ago
    • When you attempt to open the Page, Does it takes a while and then it crashes... or it happens right away?

Also, Do you have an SSL certificate in place? - Channeler 4 years ago
      • It takes a little bit and then crashes.
I will say that I purged the upload, started fresh (with new name) and turned off the additional log. When the upload completed, I was able to access it this time. - breevesMSCC 4 years ago
