Usage data for a computer lab

Greetings everyone.  I work for a university and manage a few labs. I'm trying to track usage data on a the classrooms.  I want to see how often the computers are logged into. The labs have deepfreeze, I'm not sure if that will cause an issue.  We're looking at Labstats, but I want to get some basic data from the past month or so, classes are almost over and Labstats won't have enough time to track. Thanks in advance

I wrote a python script that runs at login. It submits basic information to a database (technically it's a Sharepoint List on Office 365) and we can run reports based on that. Not as fancy as LabStats, but it gets the job done (and cost a lot less).
